Off Duty Pilates (Orchard)

• Wenning S.October 2026

Kudos to all my teachers at ODP (not only Orchard) but across all 3 outlets! All ODP teachers are really very good in helping us understand the foundations and principles of Stott Pilates!! Thank you for teaching repertoire and incorporating all the STOTT principles & exercises in group class! This gave me a much better understanding and ease/transit into course better :) Shoutout to Hwee Ling, Sujin, Pat, Chen Wei, Esther, Jin, Wendyl, Christina for all the visual cues during group classes :) during the principles lesson today, I had multiple moments when I was like oh we did that before quite frequently in group classes! Also Julie’s cue on “no wrinkles on the neck” (since many years ago), it kinda stuck with me and it help me connect well with the head cervical placement principle! Last but not least, my private teacher Pam, who taught me (i) importance of body awareness and engagement through movement & (ii) scoliosis is NEVER EVER something to be ashamed of, instead through awareness and correct engagement, this condition could be managed well. #ifykyk Xoxo, WS/Wenning/Grace

Look for Coach Pam. Despite being a hybrid dude, I do recognise the need to strengthen the lesser accessory muscles and that's where Coach Pam with her extensive knowledge kept me shaking at one those machines. Even when I can squat 1.5 x my bodyweight. Will be back for more.
