  This was my review and their response - I had to share! Instructor was amazing, nothing to do with her ( Estefania Lungavite 10/10) however, the response I got after communicating my concern was NOT IT. My review on ClassPass 4/5 stars: It was my first time attending the studio and I randomly selected this class because the time worked for me. I was one of the last to arrive and there was one other guest taking video for the Instructor/ social media/ Pilates studio itself ... I wasn't aware that this would be happening and I just felt uncomfortable because I had to make sure I wasn't in the clips. I have no problem with content creators since | do the same for a living, but I felt uncomfortable since I didn't get prior notice that I would be possibly recorded being in the background while fighting for my life during this class lol. That's all I have to say... I just wish I would've known beforehand that someone was going to be filming parts of the class. I'm not sure if I'm in any of the videos, but I simply didn't want to be filmed this am. The instructor was great and I loved the playlist. I'll be retuning, I just wanted to share my experience. The response: hi amanda, thank you for coming in and for sharing this, we're so glad you loved the class. that was actually the studio owner, grabbing a few clips for our socials, and we're sorry it made your first class feel less relaxed. our waiver signed before class has a media section that mentions we may capture photo or video during classes. if you'd ever rather not appear in anything, just email us at hello@portalpilates.co and we'll make sure you're left out. ———————————— Personally, I think a more appropriate response would have been to acknowledge my concern and offer to make sure I wasn’t included in any footage, rather than refer me back to a waiver. It’s not about what’s legally permitted, it’s about being considerate of your clients. Unfortunately, your response is what ultimately made me decide not to return. 🍅🍅🍅

  Truly the best studio I've ever been to! All the instructors are so good - Rose, Liz, Brook, Mia, and Estefania. They all pay close attention to form, know exactly how to cheer you on when you're struggling to keep going, and the flow is built in such a smart way Highly recommend!

  I had never done mat Pilates before, and Brooke quickly became my go-to instructor! She’s so friendly and welcoming and makes everyone feel comfortable, no matter what your experience level is. I’ve learned so much from her about proper form and actually engaging my core, and I’ve seen real results from taking her classes consistently. Her classes are always full, and I love seeing so many familiar faces every time I go. It’s such a fun and positive environment, but the classes are definitely challenging! I always get a good sweat and leave feeling like I really worked. I genuinely look forward to every class and can’t recommend Brooke enough!
