About
Method Pilates in Bouldin Creek, Austin, is a reformer studio on South First that reviewers call clean, low-lit and friendly, with equipment in great condition. Classes are challenging but beginner friendly, with modification options and new moves added over time, and varied times fit busy schedules. Validated garage parking is a recurring plus. Instructors are described as knowledgeable, attentive and welcoming; Taylor, Taryn and Audrey are named, with Taryn praised for correcting form. One reviewer felt form was not corrected enough in a class, and another was unhappy that a late arrival after an accident cost her a reserved spot. A reviewer warns that there are no changing rooms or showers.

Really friendly studio with good (challenging!) classes. Reformers are in great condition and validated parking downstairs is really helpful. Just keep in mind there’s no changing rooms or showers.

I love this place, I’ve been going here a year and a half and they have quality Pilates. As I was driving to my class at 4:30 today, there was a big accident in front of me that caused a delay, but I was still arriving at 4:30 so I knew I’d be fine. I’ve parked in the parking garage and walked into class. I was really confused when I didn’t see a spot open for me since I had reserved one. I waved the instructor over and she told me that after five minutes, they let people on the waitlist take your spot. I showed her my phone to show her the time, and it turned from 4:34 to 4:35 on the screen. It was quite uncomfortable and unfortunate because we both knew I had made it within 5 minutes, it still being 4:35. But now, I had to leave. There was nothing on ClassPass that stated this, so I searched on the Method website and it states: “traffic happens, if you’re running a little late, you don’t have to worry”. “If you are More than 5 minutes late, your spot will be given away”. I ask that, in the future, please wait until after 5 minutes to give the spot away, like the website states. This left a weird feeling having to leave my own class and showing the instructor that I actually got their on time, which means my spot was given up before I even had the chance. I drive 30 minutes to come to this studio and have loved it, I was just excited to work out, and left feeling uncomfortable.

I’ve really been loving Method Pilates! The studio has a great atmosphere, and the classes are challenging in the best way. They offer a great variety in class times, so I can easily fit a workout into my schedule. Everyone here makes an effort to make people feel seen and welcomed. Special shoutout to Taylor, who is the best instructor. She keeps every class fun, engaging, and challenging, and I always leave feeling like I got a great workout. I highly recommend you take one of Taylor’s classes!
