About
Boston Yoga Union - Back Bay is a yoga studio that reviewers describe as supportive, with knowledgeable and friendly instructors and a convenient Back Bay location. Vinyasa classes are described as challenging, and Matt is praised for focusing on alignment and taking time to check that everyone is getting poses right rather than racing through a flow. Several reviewers name Tim, Taylor and Anna as favourite teachers, and one regular has practised here for three years. Pricing is called reasonable. The main criticism is billing: one ClassPass user reports being charged for months with no response from the studio. It suits students who want alignment-focused teaching and a steady practice.

I took a class here and the teacher was great, my concern is that they have been charging my credit card for months and no one will contact me back. I took a class on class pass, and it seems becuase of that they don't want to help me. They keep saying there is no CC on my file to be charged, but I have cc statements that they're charging me monthly. I owned yoga studios forever, and what I believe happened is when I was tapping my credit card to pay for my mat rental, someone else was signed in and it save my cc info to their profile, so I've been charged for someone elses membership and purchases since May. I called and talked to Deja, she was very rude and would not help me. I have called and left 3 voice messages. I have emailed Tim and Taylor at Dejas recommendation and tried their online chat several times and no one will get back to me. It's just terrible business to ignore someone and keep charging them. Now I had to open a dispute with my credit card company and have to show them the emails I've sent, etc. I know I'll get my money back, but this all could have been so simply solved if they called me back. Bums me out when people own places that are supposed to be of integrity and then act like this.

Hands-down the best yoga studio in Boston. The instructors here don’t just lead a practice, they enable exploration.
