I’ve been doing 1-to-1 Pilates sessions with Caren at Pilatique SG, and every session with her genuinely feels therapeutic — both physically and mentally. Caren is incredibly patient, attentive and accommodating, and she gives very clear instructions throughout the session. What I appreciate most is that she doesn’t just explain the movements verbally — she demonstrates them with such precision that you can really see and understand how each movement and stretch should be done, including how to use the reformer safely and correctly. She has a very calm and graceful presence, and somehow makes even challenging movements feel approachable. You can tell that she is technically strong and very mindful of form, alignment and control. As a STOTT-certified instructor, she brings a level of knowledge and precision that gives me a lot of confidence during my sessions. She is also very patient and accommodating when it comes to scheduling, which I really appreciate. And I have to say — Caren is such a beautiful and elegant Pilates instructor to work with! 😊 Her sessions have become something I genuinely look forward to. I always leave feeling stretched, lighter and refreshed. Highly recommend Caren if you’re looking for a knowledgeable, patient and attentive instructor, especially for 1-to-1 Pilates.

Tried the trial session with Caren. Prior to the session, she wanted to understand what were my concerns and focused on deep core as I wanted to strengthen that area. We focused a lot on breathing techniques and how to further engage the core for Pilates and also other strength activities. She has deep knowledge of the anatomy and also uses relatable analogies to explain the movements so it definitely helped me as someone who is new.

Hazel was so patient and pro active in helping me with payment for the IMP course. She even allowed me to rest at the table section "as long as I needed" (because I cycled over in the haze and was dehydrated). Pilatique is really more than pilates. It's about people. Thanks Hazel (and Asmak) for making this special arrangement on a Saturday.
