ARC Collective is a community space in London where classes sit alongside a coffee bar. A Thursday morning Qigong class taught by Emma uses slow, flowing movement and synchronised breathing. A ballet class taught by Maria pairs classical music with a choice of harder moves, so students can progress at their own pace. A vinyasa class with Eliza, which included accessible modifications, has also been mentioned. The rooms are spacious, clean and calm, lit by candles and decorated with plants, and they are not packed. Many people stay for a coffee after class, and families and regulars describe a warm, community feel.

Community, spacious, clean
Ballet in Maria's class is amazing. She's hands down one of the best Ballet tutors I've had. Gives the class a choice of more challenging moves if confident, so this allows you to grow at your own pace and skills without force. The routines are beautiful, fun, with gradual variation. Music is classical from movies, theatre or traditional classical pieces, which I think is important in how it reflects the grace, beauty and passion that ballet performance is. The studio is spacious, clean that my white socks remain white when dancing without shoes, lit by candles and decorated with plants and meditation ornaments - all serving the purpose to create a calm, ambient and zen space. And the cafe connected to the studio is cute, cosy, and always served with a welcoming smile and good chat by the gorgeous barista Elishka. Absolutely recommend this place and the ballet class especially!
I’m reluctant to review this because it is such an excellent hidden gem - fantastic yoga, coffee, a community vibes. My family absolutely love it here.
Qigong Class with Emma Tian Williamson Thursdays 10am at the ARC I have had the pleasure of attending the Qigong class for several months. It is a revelation. Having practiced yoga for several decades this is completely different - a Chinese wellness practice to nourish the mind and body through slow- flowing movements and synchronised breathing. It encourages circulation, mobility and soothes the nervous system. It is deeply calming and Emma is an excellent teacher. The ARC studio is a special space - the best studio I have encountered. You feel you are not doing much yet your body knows the difference and is thankful at the end of a session.
