  I just completed my STOTT Pilates Advanced Mat and Advanced Reformer courses at Pilates South Texas, and my experience was insightful, inspiring, and intense in the best way. Chau is incredibly knowledgeable and truly cares about her students. She takes the time to break down every element of the STOTT Pilates repertoire, helping us understand not just the “what,” but the “why” and “how” through a strong foundation in anatomy and biomechanics. Her teaching style makes complex concepts approachable and meaningful. The studio itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, well-maintained, and truly a luxury training environment. With over 20 years of experience, this training center reflects a deep commitment to excellence. Chau is genuinely invested in her students’ growth and success, and guiding us to become the best Pilates instructors we can be.   I booked a Mat Pilates teacher training at and unfortunately, I do not recommend it. The learning environment was unpleasant, and the instructor’s explanations—both verbal and written—were often unclear and confusing. Several students, including myself, had initially planned to continue with the Reformer training at the same studio, but ended up switching elsewhere due to the poor experience.
