About
Puppy Sphere is a puppy yoga studio in Old Toronto, close to the GO station and downtown, where yoga or a 40-minute Pilates class runs with puppies such as golden retrievers or German shepherds in the room. Happy visitors describe attentive staff who make sure everyone gets time with the dogs, a calming instructor, and a team that accommodated a group who arrived on the wrong day. The reviews are more mixed than the rating suggests. Several visitors say classes were too large for the number of puppies, with up to 24 people sharing five dogs, and some found the puppies asleep in a corner for most of the session. Others complain that customer service is email only, and late arrivals report finding the doors locked and no one at reception.

We showed up a day earlier than our booking because we didn’t register the date properly but the team went above and beyond to still accommodate us despite that, we really appreciated that, they were super attentive and made sure everyone had quality time with the puppies! Highly recommend

I was frustrating with this experience and how they managed the event. They filled the class with 24 people and had 5 puppies, this made it awkward for attendees to try to interact with the puppies as they were just getting pulled in every direction. My recommendation to Puppy Sphere, is to have an appropriate amount of attendees to puppy ratio. I would unfortunately not book with puppy sphere again.

The first time I went to Puppy sphere it was a great experience. Lots of puppies. Some active. Some sleepy. But fun. Everyone had a great time. So i arranged to take two friends back with me. They were so Looking forward to it. What a colossal waste of money. There were five sleepy GSD puppies. And 15 participants. Even if the puppies had been active it would have been a dismal experience with everyone vying for the attention of five puppies. And truly for the staff to say at the end to everyone why don’t you all go to the corner to try to get the puppies to wake up and come out meant 15 adults were noisily hovering over 5 puppies. Really?! Not great for the puppies or the humans. And whose job is it anyhow to try to ensure a good experience ?! When I complained to staff about the dismal experience they said well the puppies are tired out from this morning. Sorry. My fault ? Had I known they would be bringing in exhausted puppies I wouldn’t have wasted my money and that of my friends this afternoon. I love dogs. I understand dogs. And puppies. you can’t bring in 5 flat out tired puppies for 15 adults and call it a great experience for anyone. As I was leaving a staff member came over with a pup in her arms and asked if I wanted to pat it. Sure thing. I’ll pat a pup while I’m halfway out the door. seriously this experience today rates a dismal one star. Will never go back. Nor will anyone I know.
