About

Pups & Poses Yoga is a puppy yoga studio in Old Toronto where the breeds rotate every one or two weekends, from Shibas, Akitas and Chow Chows to golden retrievers and Australian shepherds. Reviewers who have tried other puppy yoga events call this the cleanest and best organised: mats and the room are spotless, and four or five staff handle the puppies, spreading them evenly so everyone gets cuddle time. Each group gets separate picture time, the yoga instructor stays calm despite the distraction, and families say it works well with young kids. One regular notes that part of the year-end proceeds goes to the Toronto Humane Society. The only criticism is that the yoga instruction can be hard to hear at times.

One of the best experiences for friends or a date. My partner and I have been going to Paws and Poses for almost 2 years now - for Shibas, Akitas, and just recently, Chow Chow puppies! They rotate pups every 1-2 weekends, so check back often. The yoga is also fantastic and clean, the mats and place is spotless and cleaned quickly. Theres usually 4-5 employees helping out which is a lot compared to other studios. Highly recommend for memories. FYI - they donate a portion of year end proceeds to Toronto Humane society too.

This review is a couple months after my visit at the old location. But the opinions would still stand, I hope. I tried several other puppy yoga events. This is by far, the cleanest, most organized puppy yoga experience. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and even did some yoga! The handlers for the puppies were attentive and engaged. They moved the puppies around to make sure everyone had plenty of cuddle time. The yoga instructor was also calm and understanding of the obvious distraction of the puppies. The class was told to keep it down when we all started giggling and laughing. Kinda felt like school, lol. But I understand, the puppies have sensitive ears. English bulldogs are my favourite breed. I always keep an eye out for them. I can't have a dog, so I fulfill my puppy cuddle quota here. Its a bit far for me, but worth the drive. Highy recommend this studio.
