  I knew the owner would respond because I read many of the reviews and when they are negative - he responds in a defensive manner. Your own person at the front desk mentioned it happens a lot. I could care less - I WOULD NOT go to your studio even if it was free. According to your own employee who said you were “INFLEXIBLE AND LIKE BIKRAM”. Hmmm WHERE IS BIKRAM TODAY? I have not met you but from what your employee stated and reading your ARROGANT AND MISTER KNOW-IT-ALL replies - I am confident I would dislike you. Continue inconveniencing travelers like me who love hot yoga when on road. I got up early and drove half hour to studio to be turned away……THANK YOU. What an embarrassment the studio should be closed. I woke up to go to an early class being on the road from Connecticut and I got all the way to the studio and they would not sign me in because I was not registered I wasn’t out of town guest and they couldn’t even make an exception someone that has been doing this for well over a decade I begged to no avail and asked the person at the front desk to even email the owner and said he doesn’t make exceptions. They tried to have an argument with me that I should read the entire website and I would’ve known that I needed to register a few days before even though I am just coming into San Diego on vacation.

  I’ve known and practiced in this community since my time as a student at both studios in San Diego (many years). Jim is an exceptional teacher and business owner who holds a safe space for teachers and students alike. This is the only true Bikram yoga practice that exists in San Diego today. The experience is life-changing — physically, at a cellular level, if you’re looking to change the shape and strength of your body, and deeply rejuvenating for the mind and soul for those seeking peace and focus in a distracting world.

  Don’t do it! If you are considering “dropping by” the studio. I traveled from Phoenix to San Diego, for a personal event. Just wanted to get in a great 90 minute yoga class. I was told I could not pay by credit card. There was one spot for me in the room available, only if I was paying cash. They rejected me, and turned me away. Because I only had a credit card on me! What a horrendous business. Don’t ever go here.
