About

[solidcore] Boystown, in Lake View, is a high-intensity, low-impact strength class studio, and reviewers say you get what is advertised: challenging classes with options for beginners and advanced clients. First-timers describe coaches who explain each move thoroughly, give useful form cues and corrections, and encourage modifications and safe movement, and one member went from a sedentary lifestyle to more than 50 classes. The front desk is called kind and helpful, and coaches learn names and check in. A runner used the four-classes-a-month membership as interval training alongside marathon preparation. Reviewers raise several complaints: there is little room to change or take off a coat before class, spots fill quickly and may need booking two weeks ahead, and one member could not get any reply about a billing issue for weeks.

Took my first [solidcore] class today with Matthew - he really took his time to explain everything thoroughly to me, and made sure I got the full value out of my workout. 10/10 experience! We will be back!

nope - cannot get any response for weeks from people here after daily calls, emails, stopping by for support. No one responds. There is no administrative support available. Now Solidcore charged me $15 AND took one of my monthly 4-pack. So I paid now $40+ for a class I did not attend. Looking forward to finding a new workout class option, and it won’t be Solidcore.

Elizabeth was so encouraging to all SC newbies and took time to demonstrate each move but also provided useful analogies clients can use to recall proper form tips during class. Elizabeth was highly energized and motivating for the entire duration of class. She seemed to genuinely want clients to experience comfortability while also reminding them to push themselves beyond what they "think" is their brink. She was so personable and I'd love to take her class again
