love this place! the vibe is very chill and relaxing. the instructors are great, challenging and detail oriented - ...and super nice!
You can tell Fon has poured her heart and soul into making her studios welcoming, fun, and truly unique. From the moment you walk in, it feels like a place that was built with care. She's also incredibly selective about who she brings on to teach because she genuinely cares about offering high-quality classes. Most of her instructors are people she has personally taken classes with first, and it shows. I've tried Pilates one to two times before and always ended up quitting. Either I was constantly stuck on a waitlist, paying for a membership but never getting into a class, or the instructors didn't take the time to teach the foundations, so I never felt like I was actually progressing. Powell is the first place where I've been able to stick with Pilates and truly learn it. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, the community is welcoming, and I leave every class feeling stronger and more confident in my body. If you've been curious about Pilates or have been burned by other studios as I have, I can't recommend Powell Pilates enough. Go try a class!
Great addition to the neighborhood!
