I was really scared to try Pilates for some legit reasons and some silly reasons. Legit reason: I have had back issues for a while and got surgery to address herniated discs back in December 2025. I was scared of movement that could trigger injury or pain. Silly reason: I was scared of the social experience, worried I wouldn’t feel like I fit in with all the cool Pilates people in a tiny studio. 6 months later of regular Pilates here (1-2 times a week), and my back pain is less AND I’m not nearly as scared of movement anymore! It’s also a very chill and welcoming atmosphere. The instructors and classmates are all delightful humans. I may not be great at Pilates (yet), but I always leave class feeling encouraged and motivated by my progress. I also don’t dread classes, the way I used to dread other workout classes. Love this studio.

Gin Yang, the owner of the studio is a true Pilates enthusiast and a great teacher!! I’ve been teaching Pilates for 28 years and training teachers for over 20 years and she is exceptional. She is committed to educating herself about body mechanics, taking as many classes and workshops as she can to support her students and clients. She also has great teachers working for her. The small group reformer classes her studio offers are so beneficial for people looking for more personalized attention. People wanting a friendly, professional vibe with smart teachers should check out her studio!
