I started pilates at Kinesia to recover following a hysterectomy. The instructors I have worked with are all wonderful, but Jack is a damned delight to learn with. He somehow manages to keep track of what my body needs even when I have completely lost track of what we’re doing. Every session feels tailored to that day’s needs and he’s endlessly patient with my permeable memory, and the various modifications required by my quirky body type. He never pushes. I feel supported and capable (even when I fail!), and I leave feeling stronger than when I showed up.

This is the best classical pilates instruction in Seattle. You should go here if that's what you're looking for.

I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with Christl as my Pilates instructor for many years. I work a physically demanding job requiring strength and balance to perform the essential duties required. I credit the training I receive from Christl for the ability to perform these specialized skills with ease. Christl also helped me during the years that I was racing bicycles, she played a key roll in my training helping me to perform well using the Pilates techniques building core strength and breathing properly. Christl is a very skilled pilates instructor, she is also a very kind sweet person who is a joy to be around. She quickly recognizes how to help each individual client gain strength and self awareness to achieve their goals. I personally always come away from my sessions feeling great; physically and mentally energized and much more in touch with my body and mind after every workout. The great feeling lasts all day!
