About

Transform Colorado is a Pilates studio in Central Denver, within walking distance of downtown. Reviewers describe its Lagree, Climb and transformer classes as hard, varied and motivating, in a bright, open space where equipment is kept spotless. Instructors are praised for clear cueing and encouragement, and beginners say they can modify moves and slow down when needed. The recurring concern is management and billing. Several one-star reviews describe disputes over billing, cancellation and an equipment purchase, and one first-time Lagree client reported an injury and little guidance during class. Several reviewers still say the classes themselves are worth it.

I absolutely love the instructors and classes at Transform, but dealing with management and billing has completely ruined my experience. I’ve had multiple billing issues on their end and was always understanding because mistakes happen. But when their cancellation email contradicted the actual policy I signed and created confusion, they were completely unwilling to honor what they communicated in writing or offer me that same understanding. The classes really are great, but I would only come here through ClassPass. I would absolutely not sign up for a membership again after my experience with management and billing.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, my experience with this business was extremely disappointing. My mother and I purchased a Megaformer for $5,500. Before purchasing, I went to the studio, looked at the available machines in person, and specifically selected Megaformer #8. I photographed the machine, and through multiple text messages and emails, it was confirmed that #8 was the machine we were purchasing. In fact, before I even submitted payment, I sent a photo of the exact machine and stated, “It was number 8. This sexy little number right here.” When there was concern that another customer may have purchased it, I waited while the owner checked. She then confirmed that the other customer had not purchased #8 and told me I could send payment for that machine. We then paid the full $5,500. Months later, immediately before pickup, I again emailed specifically to verify that we had purchased Reformer #8 before hiring professional movers. The response I received was: “That is correct, everything is marked for her.” Despite multiple confirmations by both text and email, when we arrived for pickup, we were given a completely different Megaformer. The machine we received was visibly not the machine I had selected, photographed, and purchased. I contacted the owner afterward and provided the photographs, text messages, and emails documenting everything. Rather than acknowledging that a mix-up had occurred and working toward a reasonable resolution, the response became defensive, and I was repeatedly told that I had “misinformation,” despite having the written correspondence showing exactly what had been agreed upon. Mistakes happen. My biggest issue isn’t simply that the wrong machine was given to us; it’s how the situation was handled afterward. When a customer pays $5,500 for a specific machine that has been repeatedly confirmed in writing through both texts and emails, I believe the business should take responsibility when the customer ultimately receives something different. I have retained the photographs, emails, and text messages documenting the entire transaction. Unfortunately, based on my experience and how this was handled, I cannot recommend this business.

Transform is my secondary workout of choice and it kicks my ass every single time\! 😂 I always leave feeling like I got a really good workout in and even after doing it for a few years on and off and always feel incredibly challenged. I’ve also done both Climb and Lagree, and while I enjoy both, Climb is definitely my preferred workout here! There’s something about the energy of the class that makes it so much fun and keeps me motivated throughout the entire workout! The instructors are absolutely wonderful and always so motivating and encouraging, which makes such a difference. They do a great job of creating a positive atmosphere while still pushing you to work harder and challenge yourself. Nicole, Madelyn, Chelsea, and Allie are definitely my favorites\! 😊 They each bring such great energy to their classes, and I always look forward to taking their classes whenever I can. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my experience and love having different workout options depending on what I’m in the mood for that day.
