About

MoreYoga Bermondsey is a yoga studio in London, on a main road close to central London. Reviewers describe a small, warm, cosy room that is kept clean, with mats in good condition and classes that rarely feel crowded. Larissa's Thursday morning class is singled out for clear flows, new poses each week and a finish with essential oil, and Jamie is praised for skilled vinyasa flow classes. The room is narrower than other MoreYoga studios, and traffic on the main road can be heard, which some find distracting. Two reviews complain about customer service, including emails left unanswered and a membership charged after cancellation. Another reviewer finds the classes too intense for beginners and for anyone who wants a calmer practice.

Attended this Yoga studio a few times earlier this year - the space is OK and does the job. My issue is that the class attendees and intensity of the classes make this pretty tough for a beginner. I myself have some basic experience with yoga and signed up to use yoga as a recovery tool for other forms of intense exercise - unfortunately every class I attended (given what is available) was fairly intense, quite demanding, and far more akin to a full body circuit workout than a practice to calm the mind while improving flexibility/mobility (my goals). Basically, if yoga is your one 'thing', MoreYoga will be fine for you and you may love it. However, if you want to use it as a recovery modality and are a beginner, you will likely be unsatisfied by the classes on offer - basically none are *truly* beginner friendly. The get around used by the instructors is to 'stop or pause if too challenging etc.' - that's fine, but I'm paying a membership to do guided classes, not to watch more advanced people do yoga and sit and watch for 20-25% of the session.

My sister and I attended jamie’s class for vinyasa flow and it was honestly really good. Jamie was an amazing instructor who clearly knows what he’s doing. We’ll definitely be back. 10/10

I've been a MoreYoga member for just over two weeks and have already completed 24 classes, which probably says everything about how much I'm enjoying it! The variety of classes, welcoming atmosphere and flexible timetable have made it so easy to build yoga into my daily routine. I mostly attend studios across South London but have also travelled to North London for instructors I particularly wanted to practise with. Huge thanks to Rachel H, whose helped me begin my fitness journey with my first ever Yoga class. After only 2 classes her teaching styles have all inspired me in different ways. Every MoreYoga class leaves me feeling stronger, calmer and more motivated. I can't wait to continue my journey, especially as I begin my Hatha Yoga Teacher Training.

A beautiful yoga studio located in London, known for its stunning ambiance but marred by management issues.
