  my favorite studio to visit when i'm in SF! such a beautifully designed space with great amenities! i am always welcomed with such kindness and am ALWAYS sore but feeling so good after! i wish i lived in SF to participate in all of the unique member perks! couldn't recommend more!!

  Extremely disappointing experience at Sage Pilates. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely unwelcome. I stood at the front desk waiting to check in while the staff was having a conversation and didn’t acknowledge me at all. I genuinely felt like I was interrupting them just by standing there waiting to be helped. When the front desk staff member finally acknowledged me, she looked me up and down in a way that made me feel judged, as if I didn’t belong there. The lack of basic customer service was honestly shocking. What made it even more disappointing was that the owner was there and witnessed the interaction, yet didn’t step in or do anything to address the way I was being treated. I decided to put that aside and still attend the class because I didn’t want one interaction to ruin my experience. However, once I went downstairs, I noticed everyone in the class had specific equipment that we had never been told to bring or grab. I had to ask another client in the class what we were supposed to get because there was no communication or direction from the staff. At that point, I decided to leave. While I was putting my shoes and jacket on to walk out, the front desk staff still didn’t acknowledge me. Not even a simple, “Are you coming back?” “Is everything okay?” or “Can we help with anything?” Nothing. I was completely ignored and simply stared at as I walked out. For a business centered around wellness, community, and creating a welcoming environment, I found the experience to be the complete opposite. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed and respected when they walk into a business, regardless of what they look like, what they’re wearing, or whether they’re a first-time customer. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning to Sage Pilates or recommending it to others.

  Love this studio! I have to give a shoutout to Ren who teaches Fridays at 12pm. She has the best flow, best music, and best vibes. I highly, highly recommend taking her class!!
