The teachers are wise AF. They know how to feel the class, and they meet me where I am and elevate me. I was absent for 5 years but returned because I had significant injuries from the wear and tear of life. I could barely move in my first yin class in February. I was going in for neck surgery in April but my insurance denied the claim (3x, thank you NY). But by May there was a significant change and the pain that had been at an 8 in Feb dropped to a 3 (with 4 PT sessions and 2 massages). By July even more flexibility and strength. I am changed because I have my body back. It’s good PT and great yoga teachers. I am grateful. Tiny Kitty as my (judgey) witness. Shoutout to Saya, Jess, Monica, Sarah, Frank, Jon, Caro and Alex!!!

I finally returned for my first class at Brooklyn Tribe Yoga. I definitely struggled, but that was all on me! The staff and even the other students were incredibly kind, welcoming, and encouraging. I’m determined to keep coming back, and I hope that one day I’ll be the person encouraging someone else who’s just starting their journey. Thank you for making my first class back such a positive experience!
