A transformative yoga studio in New York, New York, known for its inclusive atmosphere and exceptional teachers.
Manhattan, New York
This yoga studio offers a peaceful and welcoming environment that caters to a diverse range of body types. Many reviewers highlight the quality of instruction and the overall positive atmosphere. However, some experiences with instructors have been inconsistent, leading to mixed feelings among attendees. One notable concern is the strict tardiness policy, which some feel could be more flexible, especially for newcomers. Additionally, the enforcement of a no phone policy has led to disruptive situations for attendees, particularly when not adequately communicated beforehand. Despite these issues, many consider it a favorite spot in the city, particularly praising the sense of community and the support offered to those healing from injuries. Overall, it's a space where one can feel safe and embraced, but improvements in communication and instructor training could enhance the experience further.

This is a reply to the owner’s response to my review: I appreciate the understanding. I would like to accept your genuine offer to refund the remaining unused classes of my membership. I will miss the classes here but I don’t feel as comfortable anymore after yesterday’s incident. All the best to the studio. I scheduled a 5:45 class, and showed up 5:50. The delay was due to heavy rain outside causing traffic delay. I was not let into the class, when I was 5min late. I understand if they don’t want me to disrupt class (even though I’ve seen plenty instances they let in girls before). But the front desk person Sean wouldn’t even let me reschedule. I took a $30 uber ride trying to get here in time, it’s raining outside, and a simple credit back so I can take the class another time took a lot of fighting on my part. I understand policies, but at the same time, not being allowed to reschedule (esp given I made it all the way there and really tried to show up) feels vengeful. I’ve been a long time goer of the studio, and I’ve never been late, been supportive during the few studio switches, that’s because I genuinely love coming here for yoga. I’m trying to show level of commitment. But the lack of understanding shown today made me sad. I love the teachers and classes here. I wish the studio has shown more understanding today. Esp in NYC, we are all just trying our best.
Like several teachers that I’ve tried so far!
This yoga studio is a real oasis in the center of NYC! The space is beautiful and peaceful, and the instructors are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and inspiring practitioners. Each class I took left me feeling both physically challenged and mentally refreshed. If you’re looking for a supportive community and top-tier guidance to level up your practice, look no further. Highly recommend!
